Getting Medievil with the Sims

Hail to the Sim King/or Queen?!

The Sims Medieval looks to be a promising new turn for the Sims game engine. Not only am I a fan of the Middle Ages, but I am a huge fan for the Sims too. Combining the two of them together seems like it will be a great game.

However, they could have done better with the media PR. EA hasn't produced much content for release to boost up sales. I do think it will be a nice addition to my collection. Release date: March 21, 2011

Star Trek Online - MMO Failure.

Captain's Log, Stardate whatever...

I longed the day for this game to arrive. Like many Start Trek fans who dreamed of just being part of Trek! But this game has let me down. It was a sad day. But hey, I saved a lot of money by purchasing the collectors addition when it was 'Price Dropped' to $14.99 and played it for 30 days. To be honest, thats all it was worth to me. I got a nice pin to add to my collection.

You can find the non-collectors version of this game for game for less than $10 at some game stores. It's a great way to escape into the trek universe, but don't get your hopes up. You'll find many active players that have nothing better to do. This game may follow the path that other failed games have and become 'Free-2-Play'. If this happens, I will recommend it being a good time waster. You will get a kick out of the image below, and it's related link.

Escape Reality, Move To A Digital Life

I believe this to be true, in part. Mostly, 98%... because you do have to sleep sometime in real life. But since we are on the subject of life and gaming. However, I have discovered this game environment to be addicting. You might just fall in love, again. Share some great game adventures, videos shows, and images from around the world... or you just might want to buy land and move right in and live life as you would want it.

"Second Life is an online digital world, built, shaped, and owned by its participants. Create a shared reality in a world full of people, activities, adventure, and fun. If you are a designer, programmer, or inventor you will be blown away by the variety of opportunities Second Life provides.

Create beautiful scripted 3D objects in a totally live online environment - from weapons to clothing lines to motorcycles.

Explore a rapidly changing and expanding world simulated on over 100 servers (with new land added almost daily), containing hundreds of thousands of user-created objects, daily and nightly hosted events, games to play, and people to meet.

Buy and sell land, create a business, or exchange virtual for real currency. It’s up to you. Second Life is yours to imagine and inhabit."

Game 3D Chat - Club Cooee

One of the best and unique instant chat room environments I have ever seen. Best of all, it's free! Whats the catch? There is some things you may pay for to better equip your chat avitar and environment. However, Club Cooee is the new slick 3-D Chatworld Messenger for your Windows desktop. It doesn't lag your computer, and you have instant connection to the world around you. Share your video and photo content too. Have fun, and look me up :)

Game Review - Minecraft

Lets Play Minecraft

This game combines that of our childhood building blox and lego imaginations into one sweet game. It's currently in free Beta and you can played on your web browser. Designed for both single player world creations and multiplayer experience. World generating is unique and never is one world the same. I suggest buying this game, and seeing its full potential.

"Minecraft is a game about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine. At night monsters come out, make sure to build a shelter before that happens."

My First Blog Entry

Make It Quick, Will Ya!!

Hello, my name is Mike and I am an Addict. An addict to gaming that is. Happy just like this little kitty to the left. Yes, I must admit that I have played several hundred games in my lifetime. But I do not brag.

Been playing since I first got into computers and gaming consoles back in the 80's. Although experienced, I play to have fun and not for money. So please don't feel that this blog will be yet another average game player on an ego trip to be the expert in the gaming industry.

This blog is not created to out perform other game reviewers on the internet. Simply, created to announce games and game related tech that I really like. Why you may ask, when there are thousands of other blogs and websites doing the same thing? Because its not the same, this blog has my own opinions on the subject matter. Many of my friends and co-workers have ask for my opinion on a certain game or product long enough for me to consider directing them to the source. But since there are so many, I might just put my favorites into one spot. The idea to blog was much better than building yet another website.

I must warn you however, I am not a daily blogger and my opinions are just that. It may be long or short, have spelling errors and twisted wordings... however, the information will always be correct and backed by related sources. Thanks for taking the time to read my posts, and please feel free to join in and comment on any of them.
